The latest innovation in concrete ceiling LED lighting came from our manufacturing partner Vecta Design. They developed a series of aluminum profiles for stretch ceiling installation, designed to integrate with ultra-bright LEDs. These contemporary LED lighting systems are referred to as Linear LEDs called Key Light- for middle of the room, and Crown Light - for the perimeter of the room. This slick LED system is perfectly flush with the ceiling level and the acrylic diffuser fits into the profile to provide ideal light distribution without hotspots. A backlit ceiling is a high-end lighting display that’s essentially an art installation made of architectural translucent textile and light. It takes expertise to properly engineer and implement a backlit ceiling design. The primary purpose of a WHITE backlit ceiling is to function as a light fixture. When you turn the lights off, it looks like a regular white ceiling (i.e. just a smooth, white level surface).
With the lights on, however, the solid white textile surface turns into a luminous membrane that can glow in any solid color as well as in a variety of color changing settings.
Backlit ceilings and walls can also be a digital design. Printed translucent textile are a high-resolution art mural. Combined with programmable LED lights hidden behind the graphics, printed textiles create a unique experience, equal to visiting an exquisite lounge or an art gallery.
